Mae M. Dukes, 101

Mae M. Dukes, 101, of Selbyville, Del., passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at the Methodist Manor House in Seaford, Del.

Dukes was born in Selbyville and was the daughter of the late James B. and Hattie (Hickman) McCabe. She and her husband had owned the former Bunting Auto Supply in Selbyville for many years. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and the Selbyville Women’s Club.

Dukes was preceded in death by her husband, Elisha C. Dukes, in 1969. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service was scheduled for Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at Hastings Funeral Home in, with interment at Redmen’s Cemetery in Selbyville, Del. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salem United Methodist Church; P.O. Box 410; Selbyville, DE 19975.
